Η Διεύθυνση ΔΟΠΑΡ του Δήμου Ρόδου πραγματοποιεί ένα ρεσιτάλ για πιάνο και φωνή με τον βραβευμένο Ρόδιο πιανίστα Απόστολο Κωνσταντάκη και τη Βραζιλιάνα σοπράνο Joicy Pereira de Carvalho.

Ο Ρόδιος πιανίστας Απόστολος Κωνσταντάκης θα ερμηνεύσει έργα για πιάνο των Strauss, Rachmaninov, Poulenc, Wagner, Liszt κ.λπ. Επίσης, θα συνοδεύσει τη Βραζιλιάνα σοπράνο Joicy Pereira de Carvalho σε άριες των Donizetti, Puccini, Delibes κ.ά. Ο Απόστολος Κωνσταντάκης, αν και είναι μόλις 24 ετών, έχει λάβει διακρίσεις στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό, ενώ δίνει ρεσιτάλ πιάνου σε διάσημες σκηνές και φεστιβάλ σε όλο τον κόσμο αποσπώντας εξαιρετικές κριτικές.

Apostolos Konstantakis, aged 24, acclaimed pianist in Greece and abroad, will perform Strauss, Rachmaninov, Poulenc, Wagner, Liszt etc. and the Brazilian soprano Joicy Pereira de Carvalho will sing Donizetti, Puccini, Delibes arias.

Η Βραζιλιάνα λυρική κολορατούρα Joicy Pereira de Carvalho ειδικεύεται στο ρεπερτόριο “Bel Canto” της όπερας, όπως επίσης και σε ρεπερτόριο μουσικής δωματίου και Μπαρόκ. Η Joicy Carvalho εντάχθηκε στη Χορωδία της Συμφωνικής Ορχήστρας Νέων της πολιτείας Goiás της Βραζιλίας ως επικεφαλής του τμήματος σοπράνο και ερμήνευσε ως σολίστ σοπράνο τη Λειτουργία Νο. 2 σε σολ μείζονα του Σούμπερτ, καθώς και τη Χορωδιακή Φαντασία Op. 80 σε ντο ελάσσονα του Μπετόβεν.
Με τη Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα της Goiania της Βραζιλίας ερμήνευσε ως σολίστ συμφωνικά έργα όπως το «Dixit Dominus» και τον «Μεσσία» του Γκέοργκ Φρίντριχ Χέντελ, καθώς και το ορατόριο «Ο Χριστός στο Όρος των Ελαιών» του Μπετόβεν, ως Σεραφείμ. Επιπλέον, ερμήνευσε τον ρόλο της Αντίνα στην όπερα “Το ελιξίριο του έρωτα” του Γκαετάνο Ντονιτσέτι, και του Αμάλ στην οπερέτα « Ο Αμάλ και οι Νυχτερινοί Επισκέπτες » του Τζιανκάρλο Μενότι. Απέσπασε το 1ο βραβείο στο διαγωνισμό “Young Soloist” στη Goiania και το 3ο βραβείο στον διαγωνισμό “Conrad Art Song Competition” στο “BGSU College of Musical Arts”, Οχάιο, Η.Π.Α.
Η Βραζιλιάνα σοπράνο αποφοίτησε από την κατεύθυνση μονωδίας από το “Universidade Federal de Goiás”, υπό την καθοδήγηση της Dr. Marília Alvares. Το 2023 έλαβε ολική υποτροφία από το “Bowling Green State University” στις Η.Π.Α. για το μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα της κατεύθυνσης μονωδίας, όπου σήμερα είναι “Teaching Assistant”, υπό την καθοδήγηση της καθηγήτριας Myra Merritt-Grant.
Joicy Pereira de Carvalho is a Brazilian Lyric Coloratura soprano specializing in operatic bel canto repertoire, with additional experience in chamber music and baroque repertoire. In Brazil, she joined the Choir of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of the State of Goiás as head of the soprano section. She sang as soprano soloist in the Mass by Schubert No. 2 in G major and Choral Fantasy by Beethoven in C minor, Op. 80.
With the Symphony Orchestra of Goiania, she performed as a soloist in symphonic works such as Dixit Dominus and Messiah by Georg Friedrich Handel and Beethoven’s Oratory, Christ on the Mount of Olives, as Seraphim. She sang the Opera L’elisir d’amore by Gaetano Donizetti as Adina, and Amahl in the operetta “Amahl and Night Visitors” by Gian Carlo Menotti. She is the winner of the 1st prize in the Young Soloist competition in Goiania – Brazil, and 3rd prize in the Conrad Art Song competition by the BGSU College of Musical Arts, Ohio, U.S.A.
Joicy graduated in vocal performance from the Federal University of Goiás in Brazil, with the mentoring of Prof. Dra. Marília Alvares. In 2023, she received full tuition scholarship and assistantship as a TA to start her Master’s Degree program in vocal performance at Bowling Green State University with the mentoring of Prof. Ms. Myra Merritt-Grant.

Με καταγωγή από τη Ρόδο, ο 24χρονος Απόστολος-Άγγελος Κωνσταντάκης είναι βραβευμένος πιανίστας στην Ελλάδα, Ευρώπη και τις ΗΠΑ. Οι διακρίσεις του περιλαμβάνουν το πρώτο βραβείο στον 5ο Πανελλήνιο Διαγωνισμό Πιάνου του Φεστιβάλ Πιάνου Θεσσαλονίκης καθώς και βραβεία σε διεθνείς διαγωνισμούς. Το 2023 ανακηρύχθηκε νικητής του διαγωνισμού κοντσέρτου του Bowling Green State University. Μέσω αυτού, είχε την ευκαιρία να συνεργαστεί με την ορχήστρα BG Philharmonia και να ερμηνεύσει το 2ο Κοντσέρτο του Φ. Λιστ σε Λα μείζονα, υπό την Dr. Emily Freeman Brown. Το ίδιο κοντσέρτο ερμήνευσε με την Αθηναϊκή Συμφωνική Ορχήστρα Νέων στο Ωδείο Αθηνών, υπό τον Παύλο Σεργίου. Επίσης κατέκτησε το πρώτο βραβείο στον 2024 Conrad Art Song Competition στις Η.Π.Α.
Επιπλέον, ο Απόστολος Κωνσταντάκης έχει δώσει συναυλίες σε χώρους όπως Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών, Μέγαρο Μουσικής Θεσσαλονίκης, Εναλλακτική Σκηνή της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής, Κάστρο του Μεγάλου Μαγίστρου της Ρόδου, καθώς και σε περιοχές όπως Ξάνθη, Κέρκυρα, Φλώρινα και Η.Π.Α. Συμμετείχε σε μουσικά φεστιβάλ όπως το Rhodes International Piano Forum & Rhodes Art International Music Festival Μουσικής και το Διεθνές Φεστιβάλ Σύμης.
Το 2023, έλαβε ολική υποτροφία διδάκτρων και την “Patricia Smith Scholarship” από το Bowling Green State University, όπου σήμερα είναι μεταπτυχιακός φοιτητής στην κατεύθυνση “Piano Performance”, υπό την Dr. Solungga Liu. Αποφοίτησε επίσης από το Ιόνιο Πανεπιστήμιο στην κατεύθυνση εκτέλεσης και ερμηνείας πιάνου, υπό τον Καθ. Λάμπη Βασιλειάδη και την καθοδήγηση της Hideyo Harada.
The 23-year-old native of Rhodes, Apostolos Angelos Konstantakis, is a pianist who has been honored with many awards in Greece, Europe, and the USA. His accolades include first prizes at the 5th Greek National Piano Competition of the Thessaloniki Piano Festival, the 2023 Bowling Green State University Concerto Competition, and the 2024 Conrad Art Song Competition. Through this opportunity, he had the chance to work with the BG Philharmonic Orchestra and perform Franz Liszt’s Concerto No 2 under the baton of Dr. Emily Freeman Brown. He also performed the same Concerto with the Athens Youth Symphony Orchestra at the Athens Conservatoire, under Pavlos Sergiou.
Moreover, Konstantakis has given multiple concerts at venues including the Athens Concert Hall, Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Alternative Stage of the Greek National Opera, and Palace of the Grand Master of Rhodes, as well as in many places including Xanthi, Florina, Germany, and the U.S. He participated in music festivals including the Rhodes International Piano Forum & Rhodes Art International Music Festival, and the International Festival of Symi.
In 2023, he received full tuition and the Patricia Smith scholarship from Bowling Green State University, where he is a current graduate student and accompanying assistant in Piano Performance major under Dr. Solungga Liu. He also graduated from the Ionian University (BM and Integrated MM) in Piano Performance, under the direction of Prof. Lambis Vassiliadis and the guidance of Hideyo Harada.
